Pool Opening Request

Our new Online Pool Opening Request Form allows for a more efficient, streamlined process of scheduling services.

  1. Complete the form, making sure to choose your top two (2) preferences for the week you'd like your pool opened, then submit the form.
  2. We will review the requests and start scheduling them out on a first come, first served basis. We will try to accommodate all customers' requests, however a timely submission request will improve the chances of getting your preferred date. 
  3. Confirmation email with exact date will be sent the week prior to your scheduled week.

Opening Options

Pool Opening: Price by Pool
Includes removal of pool cover, plugs, and fittings; draining water tubes (if applicable); a 30-minute vacuum with a Stand-Alone System; brushing walls/steps; and skimming water. Chemicals included are [4 lbs] of shock and [1 gal] of muriatic acid. (Homeowner will be responsible for any additional chemical balancing/treatment beyond the included opening chemicals, unless you have signed up for a maintenance plan and/or second visit. We recommend allowing the pool to filter for at least 48hrs before checking and balancing chemicals.) We will also start up equipment, secure the handrail, rinse off the deck around the pool/spa, and fold the pool cover to dry on the pool deck.

**Blue Haven cannot guarantee that your pool will be "swimmable" after your opening visit, second visit is available upon request**

Spa Opening: $120
Includes similar services as your pool opening, outlined above.

Second Visit - Optional ADD-ON: $155

ADD ON: Maintenance Options

We offer three types to choose from when it comes to pool maintenance. These include the following:

Test & Balance Only:
Test and treat water as needed

Filter Cartridge Cleaning Only:
Monthly cleaning of filter cartridge

Full Service:
Test and treat water as needed; empty skimmer and pump baskets; inspect all equipment, pool, and concrete deck; skim the surface of the pool; vacuum pool interior; brush walls, steps, and benches.

IMPORTANT: CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES Before technicians arrive

  • Raise the pool water to the proper operating level (at least halfway up the skimmer).
  • Remove water and debris from the pool cover.
  • Ensure to turn on electric, water and leave out the pool cover bag, fittings, skimmer basket(s), handrail/ladder on the pool deck for technicians to access.

**If pool is not prepared for opening day, an additional return visit fee will be issued at $135.00*

Payment Information

A confirmation email with exact opening date will be sent out on Thursday/Friday prior to your opening week.

Payment for your opening services must be provided in full the week prior to your scheduled opening, or the appointment will be canceled. You may pay by check or by credit/debit card.

If paying by check:

  • Checks are not processed until a week before your opening date.
  • Checks (payable to Blue Haven Pools) may be mailed at any time to our Service Department at:

If paying by card:

  • A payment link will be supplied with your confirmation email the week before your opening date.
  • If paying by credit card, a Processing Fee of 3% will be applied to your GRAND TOTAL.
